Please Help Me Understand Scorpio...?

Scorpios are very complicated creatures, but I feel they are very worth the patience it takes to capture their hearts. My Scorpio and I have been talking for over a month and a half now and the more I learn of her, the more beautiful she becomes to me. She was in a very controlling relationship before meeting me and my nature is the exact opposite of that. So, naturally she feels she isn't ready for anything serious right now. But when we first started talking, she gave into her emotions more and opened up to me and was very forward in her intentions. She pulled back a lot and we have agreed to be friends. But she still wants the potential for a ual aspect from time to time even though she already has that with other people. But emotions are no longer an option for her and she doesn't want to talk about them. So she closed herself off to me emotionally. Now, I have been understanding. We haven't argued even though I did express my anger of feeling led on in the beginning. But she now knows that I respect her feelings and I'll be the friend she needs and am not going anywhere. When we talk, I notice the connection is still there underlying and she still opens up to me about things she says she doesn't tell others. I guess what I want to understand is, will she come around slowly? Do I allow into our experience or keep it platonic? We get along tremendously. She is Sun Scorpio, Moon Scorpio, Mercury Scorpio, Venus Scorpio, Sagittarius Mars, and Gemini Rising. I don't even know how to tell if she still likes me anymore. I've just been giving her the space she needs but at the same time letting her know I'm here for her. She told me she wants to be single for at least a year and just have fun. I don't want anything very serious any way and would never limit her fun. So, what do I need to do to make this girl mine eventually and get her back to where she was before she stopped herself from feeling?
