Can I substitute pumpkin for the squash in this recipe?

I am making Three Sisters Stew for Samhain and I don't have any ernut squash. Can I substitute pumpkin for it? Should I not add the garlic if I do? I am having cornbread muffins and homemade buns with it. Dessert is candy bar Cheesecake with fudge sauce. Plus I also have various cookies, quick breads and old fashioned carmel apples too.

Enlightenment is simply an induced and artificial state of mind, which can be experienced in many ways including deprivation, drugs, and meditation. The Buddha tried all three (not sure he did drugs though I wouldn't be surprised) and he goes down in history as the worlds biggest drop-out. If you discount his founding a new religion, which I do, then his was the ultimate in wasted lives.

Simon Cowell Didn't write that He got that off a spritiual scritlure I don't think he should get cerdit for it, It's not like he wrote it his self. I think he should pay money for using it.
