Are my past actions the reason why biual men aren't taken seriously by the gay and straight community?
I'm 21 years old and gay. But when I came out in 2006, I came out as . I just said it to "soften the blow" to my loved ones. I know for a fact I'm not the only gay male who has done this. In 2007, I finally admitted to everyone that I was just gay. I just didn't tell them my real orientation right away because I felt like I might have been giving them too much to absorb at once. I respect biuals and I'll defend them to the hilt if a bigot(gay or straight) tries to call their ual orientation invalid. But on the other hand I do understand, many men who come out as do eventually admit to being gay. Not all. But a lot. What are your thoughts?
